Virtual Decorator eDecorating Services Tailored to Your Needs
Your Virtual Decorator was
developed to address the design needs of clients who may not have the funds to hire
and work with a designer face-to-face, but still need a design plan for one or more rooms in their home. In addition,
it helps us broaden our reach to a wider market whereby we are able to service clients
who live outside the DC metro area who desire Decor by Denise's design aesthetic when reworking the interior of
their home. To determine whether this service is right for you, ask yourself
the following: - Do you have a very limited decorating
budget, but feel overwhelmed and cannot do it alone?
- Do you want to incorporate good
design principals even though you may mostly purchase via online and retail sources?
- Do you live outside the DC metro area, but desire Decor by Denise's design aesthetic?
- Are you comfortable taking detailed measurements and photos of your room(s),
and sending them to us?
- Do you have a design dilemma where you just need a little expert advice to ease your mind and
help you make the right choices?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions,
then our Your Virtual Decorator service is a good fit for you. What
Services Do You Offer? We offer three types of Your Virtual Decorator services,
which have been specifically tailored to the unique needs of our eDecorating clients. Our eDecorating
services are:

1. Virtual Room Design. Our most popular
and comprehensive virtual design service is our Virtual Room Design. This is where we provide you a comprehensive
design plan for one or more rooms in your home. When you purchase this service, you will receive the following: - Design Storyboard: A complete visual room design board that includes the space
plan for the room, images of color swatches and fabrics, as well as all key furniture pieces, rugs, lamps and artwork.
A window treatment design is also included in the plan.
- Space Plan: A
1/4" scale space plan depicting all the key room elements and how they should be placed in the space—including
casegoods (tables, bookcases, etc.), upholstery items (sofas, chairs, ottomans, etc.), rugs, lamps, artwork focal points and
televisions (where appropriate). We also provide guidance on how large the TV should be in instances where a TV is included.
- Detailed Shopping List: A detailed worksheet that lists every item selected for
the room and where it can be purchased. Electronics are not included.
- Color
Swatches: Swatches of each color (wall and accent colors) selected for the room are included
on the Electronic Design Storyboard.
- Follow-up Support: For up to 2
weeks after your designs are delivered, we will provide you up to 30 minutes of follow-up support (via phone or email) to
ensure that we answer any questions you may have and that your design is fully understood.

- Buying Service: When you
purchase major manufacturer brands and/or designer fabrics through Decor by Denise, you will receive up to 20% off the
retail price. This discount does not apply to online and retail vendors.
- 20% Fabric Coupon: We provide you with a 20% off coupon which can be used
to purchase any one of our designer fabric lines.
- Monthly Design Inspiration: You
are automatically enrolled in our monthly eNewsletter to keep you abreast of money saving decorating tips and tricks, as well
as the latest interior design trends.
Our Virtual Room Designs
are priced as follows: - For Living Rooms, Bedrooms, Kitchens, Home Office -- $795 per
room*
- For Dining Rooms, Entryways/Foyers, Hallways, Bathrooms -- $595 per room*
* For combination or great rooms (i.e., LR/DR/Kitchen in one large area), each area will be billed as a separate
room. Our prices are based on the average time to complete a design for a standard room size. 2. Design Lifeline. Our second most popular online decorating service
is our Design Lifeline. Similar to the lifeline used in the popular show
"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," this service was designed for those clients who need an expert to call to get them
through a "rough patch." This service works best when we are called upon to solve a specific design problem. When
you just need some guidance as to which direction to go with a color or which window treatment would look best in a given
room, this is the service for you. When you purchase this service, our time to research, critique, review
photos/plans, and provide decorating guidance via email or phone is billed in half hour increments at a rate of $50.
3. Designer Buying Service.
Our final eDesign service is our Designer Buying Service. If you desire a "to the trade
only" item for your home that you cannot purchase yourself, we will make that purchase and coordinate shipping
on your behalf. You will be charged the retail price of the item except in cases where you have purchased enough volume
through us. In those cases, we will extend a discount up to 20%.
How Do We Get Started? To initiate a Your Virtual Decorator project, you first need to contact us with the details on the rooms you desire help with and which service you desire. Once we receive your
email, we will send you instructions on how to pay for your service either via credit card or check, we will provide you an
account login to download instructions for taking photos and taking measurements, and we will provide you instructions for
filling out our detailed questionnaire to determine your style and budget. Once we receive your items we will be ready
to either schedule your Design Lifeline call or will begin work on your Virtual Room Design,
which take approximately 2 weeks per room to create and send off to you electronically.
